Bruce Goolsby from Mesa, Arizona a great minister, singer, (with additional talents) will be delivering the Word of God.
Bruce has a mission to help people make a positive change in their life through the gospel. A creative at heart, his message is that the Lord is the ultimate artist whose creative Spirit is still at work in creation. Having grown up in the performing arts, he has traveled nationally and internationally as a singer, dancer, and actor. It was during his life as a performer when he encountered the life-changing love of God. After his career as a performer, he worked as a journalist while he, along with his wife Michele, served as associate pastors at Grace & Glory Church in East Longmeadow, MA (10 years) and The River of Life Tabernacle in Phoenix, AZ (10 years). In addition, they served as Senior Pastors at Open Hands Ministries in Charlotte, NC for three years and, most recently, served as the founder and pastors at Mosaic Church of Arizona for six years before deciding to return to evangelism. When not traveling, he still teaches tap dance and acting at local high schools, studios, and dance festivals.
Bruce did not want to dance as a young man. But, to keep him out of trouble, Hattie, his mother, enrolled he and his younger brother at the Frank Hatchett School of Performing arts at the age of 7. Although he was resistant initially, after his first class he was hooked and fell in love with the art of dance. Under Frank's tutelage he learned jazz, tap, afro and ballet in addition to voice and modeling. His performing experience includes commercials, Musical Theater, voice over work and time as a lead vocalist with the R&B group SECRETS. He has had the privilege of performing on stages from New York to Monaco, Monte Carlo. Some of his credits include: DreamGirls, The Evening is Yours, Moon Children, Philly's Beat and the gospel play Brother, Brother, Stop! These days he can be found teaching tap and African dance at local studios and dance festivals.
